That's good of him and pleased you've got sorted. We lost our deposit on our villa booking this year as the owner wasn't willing to move our booking. We had booked with a dibb villa owner who we haven't used before and whilst I'm not happy with loosing the deposit I recognise that we'd entered into a contract and made the decision to loose the deposit when we cancelled. We weren't prepared to pay the final amount as we were sure flights would be cancelled and the owner wasn't willing to move the final payment date or move our booking.

Yes, like us, I was aware that we would have to forfeit deposit and it was very good of the villa owner to offer to change our dates to next year, just awaiting confirmation on that. I'm sorry that you were not given the chance to alter your dates though, I know business is business but surely in this scenario it would pay the villa owner to at least show goodwill in rearranging a date. I hope you get sorted with something else for next year if possible 🤞 who knows what the knock on effect is going to be like due to covid over the next few years really 🙁take care.

Thanks, we've managed to book another dibb villa which we stayed at last year and loved. The only reason we didn't book it for this year was due to it already being booked for our dates. We've already moved our flights so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything will be ok and we'll be able to go next year.
