Don’t think I can take much more (blowing off steam)

Just putting this on here to get it out in the open really and hoping it might help me, sorry if I go on a bit.

I booked a one off big family holiday 2 years ago for this August, just after I booked it my dad died, the beginning of this year my mum died, then my car blew up and I had to dip into the holiday dollars to get a new one, last month I have been in and out of hospital (in for 5 days 2 weeks ago). One of my children is being bullied in school and last week my friend died of a heart attack he was 30 years old. Then this morning I read the thread on here that BA might be striking in August. I read it went to the staff toilets and broke down, I’m having the worst year I’ve ever had, everything is going wrong and my family and I need this holiday more than ever.
I know there are a lot of people worse off than me I just wanted to vent. After everything that’s happened to me I just feel like they will strike and the holiday will be ruined. Sitting here typing this in tears 😭.

Sorry to hear about your sad times, I’m sure it’ll all be ok, BA were going to strike one Christmas when we went to NY, I was a state too, but it was all good in the end
