If you are prebooking your 3 FPs at 30 days out and want them all for the evening then you'd have to book those 3 FPs whenever the attractions are available. Remember one can be a tier 1 ride, one can be for Star Tours, and one can be for a show. If you wanted to use all 3 FPs to see shows then it's no different to the current situation and, yes, the latest FP you get would be limited to the latest time of the shows (again, this is no different to the current situation).

If you've talking about booking additional fastpasses on the day after using your 3 prebooked FPs in the morning, then you can only book 1 FP at a time and that FP can be for any attraction from any tier, you are not limited to just the shows. Again, this is no different to the current situation.

But perhaps I've misunderstood your question?
Yes sorry you have. The problem with their being (as I understand it) only 1 ride in the tier 2 choices then if you are visiting the park in the evening only to catch fantasmic or one of the other evening light shows then because they stop the shows in the early evening (sometimes quite early) then how do you use your fastpasses - do they have to be star tours and muppets as there is nothing else open at that time.

The following Tier 2 fastpassable attractions would continue until about a hour or later before park close:

Muppets, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Fantasmic, Star Tours.

There are 4 shows (I think) that close early-ish. But, tbh, usually you don't need a fastpass for a show anyway, so there's little point in getting a fastpass for these anyway.

So, yes, you would be limited to having to choose between those 4 attractions for your two Tier 2 fastpasses in the evening, plus one Tier 1 attraction.

For example, you might get ToT at 7pm (tier 1), Star Tours at 8pm (tier 2), Fantasmic at 9pm (tier 2). Or, another example, Voyage of the Little Mermaid at 6:45pm, Slinky Dog at 7:45pm, Star Tours at 8:45pm.

It is a little more restrictive but not that much more than booking the fastpasses in the morning. Would you really want to select FPs for those other shows anyway (Frozen Sing-Along maybe, I suppose)?
