We have one. If I am honest ours is rubbish. We have used it a few times and it gives off no heat whatsoever. It’s a waste of time. Sorry

I've also read they give out hardly any heat as we were looking at the indoor ones (apparently indoors they also give off lots of moisture as a by-product, so basically it's aesthetically nice but doesn't work that well).

We’re in the midst of finishing our outdoor area. We have an old patio heater which DH repainted. It gives of great heat. We also installed a Morso pizza oven which is fixed (installed a chimney) and this gives off an incredible heat all round. We also have a fire pit table which has a gas canister. Looks pretty and can be turned low or high. It gives off heat when high but if there’s a wind all you smell is gas. I wouldn’t recommend a fire pit table for a source of heat tbh. We’re going to have to install side curtains of some kind as it’s blooming cold when there’s a wind. Saying that we’re north east coast of Scotland and we’re lucky if the temp goes above 18 in the summer!

Get a gas one, extend the orange pipe using a connector and get yourself a flogas 19kg bottle, they sell them the same price as a 5kg patio gas and it’s the same stuff, in a different bottle.
