I checked out about 7.05 this morning, interestingly at that time there where no slots at all for the 24th.

Yes, I think I was on relatively early, although not quite as early as you - I checked out at 7.11am. There were no slots for 24th for me. I'm happy with 23rd, but goodness knows what will happen for those without a delivery pass.

I was in a queue for 2hrs. Logged on at 6.45 and finally was able to book when I was sat in the car outside school! I got the 21st which too be honest I'm not overly happy with, I feel like I'll still have to go out and buy fresh stuff as I thjnk most of the dates will be too short to last Xmas. There doesn't seem to be an actual queue when you're queueing from what I've read, there's no system at all. Plus, you've no idea whether the screen has frozen or is moving along! Its a very strange system that doesn't work too well

I wonder if they are saving the 24th for a later release. I always try for the 23rd as feel if anything was missing on the 24th delivery I would be stuck.

Sainsburys don't do deliveries on 24th is it the same for Tesco?

I think they reserve 50% of the slots for release on the 20th Nov.

Nothing to stop delivery savers getting a slot then of course, but they have to mix in with the masses to do so

It is for Asda, not sure for Tesco

They dont usually deliver on 24th.

I logged in 6.50, booked my slots for Dec. Took around half hour to do them all. I've been shopping online with Tesco for around 12 years this was most stressed I've been booking Christmas slot 🙈

Tesco have apologised on their twitter page about all the problems this morning, saying an unprecedented amount of people trying to log on. This , with the payt page glitch they said caused people to be logged out without securing the slot.

I agree with another post earlier about the virtual queue, in the past I’ve been on Morrison’s and B&Q and both tell you how you are progressing and see when it’s almost your time. Would have saved so much frustration wondering if you were still in it with the time wait

I couldn’t book mine on the app at 7am as I went straight into a queue, went into the website instead and that worked straight away.

I’ve been doing online shopping with Tesco for over 10 years, I don’t recall ever seeing deliveries in my area on Xmas eve.
