Always tip our ‘postie’ as known him for years. A bit iffy with the binmen as seem to have a different crew every week.

We’ve had the same lovely postman for a few years, I usually get him a tin of sweets or a bottle of wine.

The bin men here work in three crews (garden/recycle/food). It’s not an easy job at the best of times but they are always cheerful and helpful. I usually give £5 to each crew. It’s not a huge amount but I know that other neighbours do the same and the guys share the tips per truck 🎄

No, dont tip the postman as I've no idea who they are, they change constantly.
Haven't seen a milkman for years.

I tip the hairdresser, barber, staff in restaurants and I think that's really enough.

No I don’t tip any of them. It’s not something I’ve ever considered really, it’s certainly not something we ever did growing up. The only time I tip is when I’m in the US.

Tip the postman as we've had the same one for years now. Used to tip the milkman and lemonade man but we dont get those delivered anymore.

Don't tip the bin men as they're different people each week, same as the recycling men. Found that out during lockdown. Plus I'm at work when they come so rarely see them.

Tip the hairdresser and always leave a card and box of sweets or biscuits in with the ladies at the post office, the chemist and doctors surgery. Will pop a box in to my local credit union this year too as they have been really kind and thoughtful asking me about family members who I'm paying in for due to them shielding, as they havent seen them since March. It always brings a smile to their faces when I say they were asking after them.

I always buy our postie a crate of beer, I may give cash this year instead. I feel he goes over and above to make sure we have our post so he def deserves a tip.

We don’t have the same postman, always a different one. I will be getting the Hermes man a bottle of wine though, he’s a good guy and been here most days this year 🙈😂

Ha. Ha. - I always find it remarkable with Amazon that you seem to constantly have a different person. You’d think there might be a few regulars who have the same patch
