Volcano Bay - Today Mon 3rd July 8.50am - At Capacity!

Hi All

Well we were up at 6.45am brekkie, suncream and ready to rock by 8oc. Down the I4 no bother, into Universal parking and then q to booth. Got to booth to see the sign below! Chap said we needed to be there at 6.30am to ensure we got in lol ! Programmed TomTom for Vineland outlets! Quick starbucks and then a nice bit of shopping! Back in villa now for pool day! Now what we had planned but happy days!

It's a bit silly that "ordinary" people cannot get in.
Hopefully it's because it's the day before 4th July

We were at parking booth for 8.50 am. They had closed it at 8.25am. We wouldnt have been "allowed" in till 9am anyhow as we r not staying on site.
We did the exact same thing last Monday morning and had a ball in Volcano Bay. A lot of Americans took a 4 day weekend as tomorroe is the 4th so extra busy I think!

Yes we realise this now lol! We knew it would b busier than last Monday but we thought we woild get in the door! Not to worry the furthest we will be going today is Papa Johns for pizza tonight!

Out of interest, what happens if you get to the parking lot entrance and find that you can't get into Volcano Bay. If you don't want to go to City Walk or one of the other Universal Parks, can you leave without having to pay for parking? I seem to remember that the road is all one-way.
