I lost weight whilst on holiday
Hi
We have been back a week and I was dreading checking out the scales, I have had a couple of comments this week about how the holiday had clearly done me good as I looked well, I thought I looked no different to when I went. I stood on the scales this morning and I have lost the stubborn 4lbs that I have been trying to lose for about two months prior to the trip. Must be all that walking, averaged 6.5 miles per day. Any chance we could officially recommend a Disney holiday as part of a weight loss program? Edited at 10:52 AM. |

The scales always lie when we back from hols without fail. How can I put nearly a stone on in 2 weeks! Even with the walking.

I always lose weight on holiday - but I do walk so much more!
My best year was needing a belt extender on the plane out, but not on the way home! Sadly for me, it never stays off long term. /Mo |

I lost weight last year too.I did try to make sure that I didn't over eat so I didn't put too much on but was convinced I would have put something on but when I weighed myself back home I'd lost some... then I was miffed that I hadn't over indulged a bit more!

I hope that happens to me, normally I do come back weighing less than when I went. But this time I plan on trying some unhealthy snacks, I’ve put money away for treats that I don’t normally have... well you only live this life once right 😊

I think it depends on how much walking/exercise you do on a normal day. If you work in an office/desk based job then activity will be a lot less so all the walking in Disney will certainly combat the weight gain 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
My husband trains 5 times a week at the gym, I run 4 miles everyday and walk a minimum of 3 miles per day before anything else. so our activity levels are a lot less in Disney and we pile the weight on! Nothing to do with the danishes for breakfast, piles of ice cream for snacks, lavish meals out every evening! 😂😂😂😂 |
