Service station help!
I'm trying to arrange a socially distant meet between my family and need your help! Obviously we need an outside space to meet/picnic, and we need trees/shade so our baby isn't in the sun. We also need quickly accessible toilets as my nephew is potty training. Nowhere busy like a shopping centre as my mum is too anxious.
I've drawn a blank on anywhere nice to meet where the toilets are guaranteed to be open so my only idea now is a service station. Can anyone think of a service station off the M1 in the general vicinity of Sheffield or a bit further south that has a nice, large grassy area we can sit in? Bloomin covid- if only it was as easy as meeting in a pub! |

Can't help with location but when DS was potty training we'd either take a potty or he'd pee on the wheel (just to give him an aim target, we'd wash off with bottle of water) 🤣

Check out the time limit though. Some give you as little as 90 minutes.

Service Station doesn't feel very appealing.
Why not look at National Trust / English Heritage sites in the area that may be open for the gardens and have toilets. english-heritage.uk/...l-and-gardens/ for example is a little further east but says it has an outdoor food service and temporary toilets open. Will be others around in a similar position I am sure. |

I think a park or gardens would be a nicer option, National Trust gardens are opening now as well.
