I also really like polkerris and the restaurant there called sams on the beach.
For a day out, I really rate Eden. And I second Bodmin gaol, although it can be difficult for anyone with mobility problems because you have to walk up and down the original stone steps!
I also agree with cornishfrogboys description of lands end! It’s pretty dreadful although the coast around there is lovely and can be nice just to drive round.
I also love kynance cove and the lizard.
And if you’re very well off, you could have a day trip to the Isles of Scilly 😄
I remember pushing my Mum in a wheelchair up the slopes of the Eden Project, couldn't make it all the way and I was younger then!. We went on a small plane to the Isles of Scilly almost 28 years ago. Not well off but really fancied it. Don't know if it is the same but check in was a small hut. Mum and I popped to the loo before boarding, came out and hubby says we have to be weighed... Of course I thought he was messing about until the check in guy told me he was right... The plane only held eight people so they had to weigh us to balance the plane...

No. I haven’t done that, but I believe that during the renovation/restoration of Bodmin Gaol., they are building a replica of Bodmin assizes.

I love stuff like this! Not sure if it’s too much busmans holiday for you, but anything to with courts/crime I just find so interesting!

I think that the true Cornish way is whichever of the two is nearest at hand. Devon claim that it is Cream first and Cornwall, Jam. I just want to prep it and eat it ASAP. Anyway, cream tends to slide off of a base of jam!

Cornwall also get Precious with Pasties. Like all foods, have it however you prefer it. There was no Cornish god of catering who descended from a mountain (we don’t have any) with a stone bearing an inscription that commanded how a Pasty should be made and with what ingredients.
