Edinburgh, hit me with suggestions!
Our anniversary trip to Vegas this November is of course no longer. Then it was going to be France, then Zurich...…
I have taken a punt and thinking Edinburgh will be a safe bet Flights booked with BA (after I swore I would never use them again after last years strike lost me loads of money!) It will be just the two of us. We like history, tours, food and a wee bit of drink We will be there 4 days. Any suggestions greatly taken on board in advance |

Depending on what dates you go The Dome might be worth a visit if it’s decorated for Christmas. Also the ghost walks are good, you can sometimes get a deal on Groupon.

We went to Edinburgh last year in December. We did a tour of the Royal Yacht Britania, I absolutely loved this - audio tours included in the price give you a full insite to life in the days of the Royal Family aboard. The zoo and their penguin march and the pandas was also a lovely day. The castle is a must if you like history. We did a hop on hop off bus, which again gave alot of history of the city.

Afternoon tea in the dome is lovely.
We also enjoyed the chocolate bar in Harvey nicks. The Camera Obscura was surprisingly good. I also loved the Royal Yacht Brittannia. If you have transport the Kelpies aren’t far and are worth a visit. WI also combined it with the Falkirk wheel. |

Agree with above suggestions, but defo make reservations for tourist attractions. We had a night in Edinburgh last week to use up a free Hotels.com night that was going to expire. We would have gone to the zoo and the castle but couldn't get reservations on the day - never even thought about it before going.
