Lots of excellent ideas to explore, will take at look at them all over the weekend - thanks so much!

DD was at uni in Brighton and there are lots of places to eat that are non chain as well as the usual choices. One is the Giggling Squid which is very quirky inside and the food is lovely. Another really good place is Smokey’s- an American restaurant on the seafront. We also had excellent fast food in Pompoko - Japanese bowl food at a very reasonable cost. Boho Gelato for ice cream with a twist on flavours. If you can walk along the front towards Hove you will come to a great fish restaurant called the Regency. It’s unbelievably popular with oriental tourists but I’m guessing in the current situation there won’t be so many people queuing up to get in but worth a peek at a traditional style restaurant.

We are off to Brighton today for a few days, we have a meal booked at the Ivy in the Lanes, and a cocktail experience called ‘Alcotraz’ which is a prison themed drinking session near the Pier!

I have just made note about the Donuts, mmmmmm! Yummy.
