Wyndham Orlando IDrive

Hello,

I'm looking to change my holiday (for the 4th time). I was booked into the enclave but they seem to have really hiked the price up for the dates I'm looking at.

The Wyndham has come up as a bargain, and it looks lovely in the youtube videos that I've seen. My only concern is that we are a family of 4 (children aged 10 and 17), and the rooms don't look that big.

Has anyone stayed in here as a family of 4? If so how did you find it? We've stayed in the Rosen all in one room, but it's hard to work out if the room sizes are the same.

Thanks

I don’t think there’s much difference in the room sizes but only thing is there isn’t much privacy in just normal hotel room lol especially with kids that age ...I’m pretty sure the Wyndham do suites though aswell ?

The Wyndham is one of the oldest resorts on idrive but it’s continually being updated and refreshed , they do offer suites but these are of course more $$$ than the standard hotel room , it used to be a huge resort before they demolished about half of it about 8yrs a go to make way for all the new shops and restaurants from the Walgreens at the corner of idrive and sand lake up to where Ridley’s is

Thanks bofor the replies. Yes the extra room would be ideal and more privacy. Its just so cheap for my dates, I could save about a grand. I really would like to stay at Surfside in the 2 room suite, decisions decisions 🤔

We stayed there in 2017 for 5 nights and enjoyed it. Room size as fine and pretty much the same as most hotels to be honest. We had no issue with it. Nice pool area and Gatorvillle did nice food. It was a good location and easy walk onto idrive without being right on top of it. The layout is a little odd though. I have pics in my 2017 trip report found in my signature below.
