We have a few very good friends in the Us we are currently trying to compose a thanksgiving message for them all
to send out
So far we have
Today we are thinking of you and your families and remembering the Thanksgivings we’ve spent with you
We know how hard it will be this year when you may all not be together
Our thoughts etc are with you as always
Many of them have several hundreds of miles between then and haven’t/seen each other since last thanksgiving and won’t till next
Any help would be great

Perhaps you could paraphrase in a small way Her Majesty the Queens "We will meet again" during her speech in April. I think most people at the time had thought it uplifting and appropriate.

An ocean separates us on this your Thanksgiving Day but nothing can dilute our thoughts and best wishes to you all on what is such an auspicious occasion.

We would dearly have loved to be with you at this special time and with luck we will be able to next year.

Who would have thought when Thanksgiving was held for the first time in 1621 that with all the subsequent developments in technology, transport and instant communication that we would be facing such adversity in 2020, some 399 years later.

May you enjoy a bountiful Thanksgiving, a joyous holiday season and healthy Happy New Year.
