Volcano bay view rooms are supposed to be the best.

I’m booked with TR for CB for July. I got a great price too, but looking now at my invoice it says poolside/volcano room I really hope it’s a volcano room as that’s what I told the girl to book when she phoned me yesterday as we cancelled our Easter trip. Do you know if it will be? Should I call CB and ask them?

I just spoke to someone on the phone at TR - as perviously I am not being instilled with confidence when I speak to them that they know what they are talking about ! It looks like it could either be a side poolview overlooking the lazy river or a side volcano bay view. so one or the other it doesn't look like its guaranteed

this is the room type i booked. i hope it is the volcano view as i could have booked a basic pool view for less

looking at universal direct there are only 3 types of standard rooms

I asked her loads of times was this definitely a volcano view room & she said yes as that was the only option she could see that mentions volcano room. I have my ref number for the hotel, I think I’ll give them a call to make sure. Thanks.

Yes I think I'm going to do that too although will give them a couple of days to get it sent over to the hotel. I also saw a room with a volcano bay view that yes the volcano was behind but in the front was a restaurant (in the water park) and they would be practically looking in through the window so don't want that view either - i'd be paranoid !

looking at the overall plan of cabana hotel i am thinking that there would be multiple views of volcano bay along with the pools and volcano bay only from the towers nearest volcano bay (highlighted in red)

There are some great prices for cabana bay next year i hope its not due a refurb! 😕 We booked 18nights for august/Sept for 5 of us in a one bed suite for £3200 with direct flights.
