I really hope so as that would mean our outbound flight is safe🤞. Our return flight is on the 12th september but tbh im not so bothered about coming home 🤣.

Unless you are travelling in September !
We were trying to make plans last night to meet friends in Florida, we had to make two sets of plans depending on the when/if strike scenario for before our cruise. I'm confident we can get to Florida in time for the cruise regardless , not so confident it will be on the day we've planned for.
I usually quietly have contingency plans for delays/flight cancellations but so many different groups seem to be making threats to disrupt travel at the moment I'm getting majorly irritated now.
If something happens , I'll deal with it but it's definitely taking the shine off things now.

Same for us, fly out 31st August and back on 12th so fingers crossed not on last weekend of August! Fingers crossed it doesn’t happen at all tbh 🤞🏻
