Yes it is a universal app. More room on the iPad for typing longer reports. Plus you can import pictures into the iPad from cameras and use them. I would expect the iPhone to be used more for live reports. As in Take picture, type a little and upload it.

Just downloaded mine ready for next month! Didn't know you could import pictures from a camera onto an ipad, is it straight forward, do you need any additional leads?

You have to buy an Apple lead, can't remember the name of it. I think mine was about £25.
