1. Go to Asda, Tesco or if you are posh, and probably a Southerner, Waitrose.
2. Make your way to frozen food isles.
3. Seek out ' Aunt Bessie'. I can vouch for the quality of her cooking.
4. Pay at til.
5. Go home and put in oven.

As to your original question OP, I haven't a clue.

Love a yorkie pud. I have used Gordon Ramsay recipe from his Sunday lunch recipe book. Never failed me yet

Recipe
225g plain flour
half tspn salt
4 eggs, beaten
300ml milk (I use semi skimmed)

Beat the eggs in a seperate bowl.

Sieve flour and salt into a larger bowl. Make a well in centre. Add the beaten eggs and half the milk. Whisk (I use an electric hand whisk) until smooth. Once smooth add rest of milk and whisk again. Now cover and rest in fridge (crucial). You can make up in the morning but I'd rest for at least 3-4 hrs if possible.

When ready to cook, pop tsn oil in each hole, put in oven to heat. It won't be smoking but when hot remove from oven, I place over the gas hob to get it smoking. Take batter out of fridge and give a quick high whisk again. Pour into holes (about half or a bit more) as quickly as you can.

Put in oven for 20 mins, do not open the door until 20 mins has passed.

Mine used to come out flat until a work colleague told me I should let the mixture rest for longer so the flour can swell. I certainly noticed a difference.

I've used the same recipe for 30 years never had a flat yorkie. 😆 Heat veg oil super hot in a muffin tin on 210 fan oven.
100 g plain flour
250mls milk
1 egg
Pinch salt
Whisk and leave in a jug in the fridge until ready to put in the oven. It does better for resting.
Poor in very hot oil quickly shut the door and don't open for 20-25 mins. This makes 6 very large yorkies. Double up for more.
I'm not a fan of loads of egg puddings they taste too eggy to me.
