I agree with this, I’ll certainly pay that

I think Disney was trying to undercut Netflix at least for the first year or so. I suspect the price will rise over a couple of years to match Netflix's price.

And I agree, I'd pay that. I'd probably stop my Netflix subscription and switch to Disney+. And I might switch back and forth every 6 months or so.

Anyone else seen the first episode yet?

A very western type vibe to it. Took me a few minutes to get used to it but I enjoyed it. The bounty hunter droid was cool. I was slightly disappointed it was only 40 minutes.

Yes! Me. I was enjoying the banter between the bounty hunter droid and the Mandelorian. Shame that relationship was cut short. A very interesting ending. 😬 Definitely, had a cowboy feel. I loved the sets and attention to detail.

it felt (to me) they were just trying to keep the fanboys happy. for the rest of us, it was ok. pretty dull for the first half hour, then a bit of fighting and excitement

i'll give it a couple more episodes, but i'm not gonna be holding my breath

in other news, my fanboy mates nearly exploded after watching it.

Ah, perfect. I’ll either try kodie on my Mac or borrow a kodie box off a friend.

Cheers

Watched the first episode last night. Unlike Netflix, Disney+ doesn't load entire seasons all at once (bummer).

I won't post any spoilers.
