If I was a real Disney lover then I'd be ###### off with the constant price increases but we go to Florida because we love everything it has to offer so will continue to dip in and out of Disney as long as the park tickets remain reasonably cheap.

For us this is a holiday we save 3 years for so we can enjoy ourselves without worrying too much about the cost when we get there, although we will still be careful fetting free water etc, the cost of going to disney is what it is I can't change it but if I want the experience then I'm happy to pay for it.

Factoring in the total cost of the holiday, the recent price increases are a drop in the ocean IMO

There is no exact price for a holiday, even for exactly the same holiday, so the increases will make very little difference.

I'll still go but we only do a couple of WDW main parks now each time. It's only a matter of time for the other parks to follow suit. I do think it's a rip off considering the ticket cost but if you're driving you have no choice.

$3 a day increase for 5 park days - $15 increase for us from what we expected to have to pay - it will have no effect whatsoever.

This is our first trip so have nothing to compare it to.
We plan to make it our one and only trip and have saved hard for many years for just 2 weeks.
I think a lot of people are the same and don't go back time and time again so the price increases wont make a huge difference.

Its very odd this...

Everyone wants the magic and the service...

But no one wants to pay for it. They all bleat about how poorly the waiting staff are paid and how you must leave a tip to subsidise their wages even when they receive poor service and yet they bleat about a few dollars increase in car parking.

Dont get it. After paying anything from £500 to £2000 just to fly there and buy over priced drinks if flying economy and paying extra for a better IFE no one mentions that but when Disney who are a business not a charity who employ thousands of people who give the best customer service ever moan about a few extra dollars.

A client of mine trains people for a living, she has recently been out training Disney cast members in Singapore, her brief was, no guest must ever receive a negative resolution to any problem, how many companies have that ethic?

I go to Orlando for Disney, of course there's lots to see and do in Orlando but it doesn't interest me as I go elsewhere for anything cultural/historic or scenic. As such I will continue to pay the prices.

Us too Clare, there's enough history and culture for me in the UK and European cruises to want it in Florida.
For us Florida is like a step out of the real world for 2 weeks .
