Labor Day - do the sales START on Labor Day, or end on Labor Day?

I think this year we arrive two days after Labor Day.

We haven't been around Labor Day since our first trip back in 2015.

Can't remember if the sales start or end on Labor Day?

Trying to guess if they'll still be on when we get there or not.

Usually start a few days before and end the week of labour day
Not unusual to see Labour Day Sale extended though in shops
