You could book a room only at Cabana Bay Beach Resort as it’s on site and cheaper than paying for another room at Royal Pacific. Still have their names attached to the 2nd room so that you have all 5 express passes.

Sorry it’s one night and we’ve done it several times with our boys 10 years between the 3 and girlfriends etc in tow it’s as we say it’s what it is ie we are paying so that’s how it is or you pay it’s hust one night out of life and if you have a teen strop tuff we won’t do the day you want even if that’s a day by the Vila ppol so the can what’s app snap chat whatever etc or no you don’t want to so we are not going shopping etc
Just our take and we do it often at universal and it s budhe up and shut up for 1 night and 2 days front of the line and on check in well go back to the hotel pool etc if you want but we are staying in the park and don’t switch your phone off or that will be a conversation and issues never failed to work

I have to say I would not want to share a room with someone and their boyfriend, would have rather shared with mum and dad but I would go for a male/female split if I had to do it.

Seems like it's probably not worth the effort so I wouldnt bother.

Tell them all to "suck it up" it's one night, youngest can sleep in the bath
DD has had holidays where they have had to "top & tail" ( uni students saving money) it's all part of the holiday experience.

Book Rosen Inn International for the night then Uber to whatever hotel the others are staying in on Universal takes 10 minutes at most. Nice clean reasonable hotel.

We had similar but all shared one room at Royal Pacific - me (mum), son and his girlfriend and two adult daughters. We also had a villa double-booked at Old Key West in Disney so son and girlfriend ubered between universal and Disney at night. Didn’t cost much and everyone got a good nights sleep but we were still able to take advantage of the express passes. I actually think it did us all good to have an evening away from everyone being together. The girls and I had a great evening in Citiwalk and son and his girlfriend went out for a meal together and enjoyed having the villa to themselves for a night. Would definitely do it that way again in the future.

My 20 year old daughter shared for 1 night with mum and dad, and she was on the put up bed!
