Also expensive as they cannot use the EU 261 weather clause for knock on effects after a certain period.

Haven't looked at the website but one big difference is ba fly about 1000 flights day where as VA fly less than 100.

As it only seems to be british flights affected are they possibly just going to use the alliances to get them out of trouble ?
