Clearwater/Tampa accommodation for Grandparents

Evening all.

Any advice/suggestions for accommodation in the above areas please? They won't have a car and would like to be in walking distance to the beach and restaurants. They are planning on staying a week.

They have previously been to St Pete beach with us which they enjoyed but would prefer somewhere a little busier with more to explore and do.

We love the Sandpearl in Clearwater. Right on the beach, plenty of places to eat and things to do. Never been to Clearwater when it has been particularly busy so don't know how it would be then.

We stayed at the Wyndham Grand. Lovely location . Short walk to the harbour for little Toot and to pier 60. Took us 10 minutes to walk along to Clearsky Cafe along the main road.
