Mobile Crackers!

I love the crackers that come with a game or something to do in them. I've had Lakeland bells sets, racing reindeer etc

But I'm trying to avoid plastic tat.

What do I do for crackers this year?

Maybe make your own so you know whats gone into them? Put in paper and pen games or dice ones...

I'm making my own for the first time this year. I'll pick up a cheap kit from somewhere, and as a filler I've ordered a bag of Fuffles. Fuffle is a handmade sweet that is GORGEOUS - it is a cross between fudge and truffle, and there are loads of flavours to choose from. The guy that makes the Fuffle bars also makes Fuffle Teenies, which are a tiny, bite-sized one - these are what I am going to put in my crackers!

Then I'll be eating fluffles before starters! I'll not need any pudding!

Wouldn’t be at all surprised... I usually give the leftover ones to the grandkids but last year they nearly caused a riot... none of them wanted the golf tees and the tiny screwdrivers weren’t too popular either...

I’ve got these amazon/Robin-Reed-...C1 45&sr=8-10 this year, I’m hoping that the magic tricks will keep everyone entertained!

I did see some that had a bingo game in and some who wants to be a millionaire ones.

My son has made ours for the last few years. Loo roll/kitchen roll tubes, covered in crepe paper, fastened with pipe cleaners and decorated with glitter, stickers etc...we then fill them with jokes, a miniature bottle for the adults and chocolate for the kids. he then puts a tag on each one They always go down really well. We use what we can for the following year.

2 years ago our DS (45) told his wife how we always had very expensive crackers when he lived at home and that they were made for the individual person. She was very impressed - I nearly didn't tell her that I use to buy any cheap crackers, open one end carefully, and stuff them with chocs, whisky miniatures, small gifts etc and each was different. DS didn't believe me
