Resort QS breakfast
We’ve only previously stayed at OKW and so not done resort breakfast. We are at PO so will probably go now.
Am I right in thinking you can swop your drink allowance for something else? I know breakfast isn’t usually great value on the DP so want to get good value out of it if we can. |

Not sure about swapping drink allowance - but never used a QS credit for a breakfast, as you say bad value, and for a snack credit you could get something very filling!
As holiday went on our fridge became full of snacks too, so breakfast was often in room - we were on DDP so didn't want much anyway after a few days of that. We had stayed at OKW 3 times and then stayed a POR - lovely resort. A mini OKW.

Yeah you can just swap it for a snack credit. So that would include pastries, cereals, tater tots, extra servings of eggs or bacon etc. Anything with the little snack credit logo. We are staying at Port Orleans French Quarter this time and plan to share a quick service breakfast and also tater tots by substituting the drink for a snack.

We found we could share a QS credit for breakfast. We stayed at ASMu and my OH would have the breakfast burger (huge!) which came with tater tots. Then I would have the Drink/Snack and use it for a bagel with cream cheese.
Then we would do similar for lunch with a QS + 1 snack credit. Worked out pretty well, as OH is a massive breakfast eater, whereas i could get away with just having coffee & pastry/bagel.

We used our refillable mugs for drinks with breakfast and picked a wine or beer for our included drinks and put them in the room fridge for later.

We always swapped the drink out at breakfast at POR. OH would get the breakfast croissant and I would use what should have been the drink for a bagel with cream cheese.

Yes we’ve been able to swap the drink for a snack at POR. We generally have the odd QS breakfast but mostly will have a snack item.
