DC own photo with Dolphin
Are you allowed to use phone or camera to have your photo with the dolphin or is it prohibited.
Photo packages are very expensive |

No. You cannot take anything into the water. So no phones or cameras.

Other people can stand on the shore and take photos - we did it. You just aren't allowed to stand in the water. If you've got a decent zoom on your camera they will be fine.

Someone can stand on the shore and take a photo but that is it and unless you have taken a decent camera with you the shot will be pretty poor as you are quite a distance away.
They do this to get you to have the photo package. |

Thx guys.
Looks like i'll have to fork out even more money then! Do you know is it only pics with the dolphin swim you get with the packages or are there more photographers around the park? |

You can buy a single photo if you want or a pack of 3. Was $99 for 3 last time we purchased. or $45 for 1.

There are photographers around the park - just request that they take a photo for you

We bought the whole photo package last year. It was very expensive but there are some really great photos. We won't be going there this year and it it'll probably be at least another 3 years, more likely 4 until we can afford to return so to have those photos of a wonderful experience for my children and I is priceless. We did this last year and paid ~$200 in advance (minor discount) and it included over 40 photos (digital copy), a selection of prints, photo frame and CD and felt it was worth the money.
They'll always be better than photos on the shore, even with a decent camera/lens. If someone else takes them they either have to miss out, or you have to break your party into groups so they can photograph you and someone else can photograph them for their go, and you won't have opportunities to have all together. If you're not bothered by the quality or angle and it's more to show you've done it (and someone available on-shore) then that would suffice. Edited at 08:55 PM. |
