Ba booking seats question?

Does the price of booking seats change, I think the price has gone up in two days. I was looking to pre book seats to a Toronto so we can all sit together but it’s so expensive, so I’m keeping a eye on them. Is there any chance they will go down? Thanks

I'm afraid the answer is probably no, they won't go down. I usually fly BA and book seats and in my opinion they are a greedy airline.

I always wait until check in, they charge a ridiculous amount in advance. If I end up not sat with my family its not always a bad thing

I can’t see why prices would go down. Not sure why they would go up either, but they do vary by particular seat.

They are dynamically priced so each seat can have a different value and no they won’t be reduced, in theory they could be increased ! I would see how busy you flight is (there’s a thread for that ) and then you can make a call to see if it’s worth paying for you or not

If you don’t cave and pay in advance, you can book seats 48 hours in advance for free, so don’t wait until 24 hours when you can check in online to book your seats.

Maybe it’s different for different routes? We travelled Euro Traveller this week and booked seats both ways 48 hours out. I assumed this was a standard thing!
