The rain rain rain came down down down

We live in north/mid Wales and the rain is killing us here with flooding cutting us off from most places. Today all of the schools closed though my son's school got about 1/3 of the students there then decided to close within half an hour with all routes back home that we can see are closed. (still not home)

What a mess and now have one bored kid and one 'missing in action' kid Please rain go away!

PS I'm not worried about my son who isn't home as his bus driver is a family friend so we know that he will keep the kids in his care safe (there are 6 special needs students on board with an assistant).

Any other parts of the UK being hit with this horrible weather?

Pretty bad here in S.Wales. Basically a typical day for here -rain!

However no flooding in the City and if it reaches my house then the rest of the City is under 100ft!

It’s shocking, my husband could not get to work via his usual route due to bad flooding.
It’s just constant at the moment and it’s really windy so we can’t use umbrella’s 🙈

Been bad here in the midlands, we were under a severe flood warning at one point which I've only known once before in my lifetime - compounded by the winds as well. To make matters worse my two front windows are now leaking! never had any issues before the last fortnight, started when the gale force wind was driving the rain against the windows during storm Dennis
