Thank you so much. I think I have read your trippies in the past but will go back and have another look.
I think that trippies are a great way to get tips. I had a good few from here that have worked out amazingly in the past.

Also Brookes Burgers (the original one just round the corner from 5th avenue). If you like brunch then head to Jane's.

If you want to see gators/turles in the wild head towards Everglades city, towards Miami, turn on to HP Williams Wayside. There's a small car park (with facilities if you need the loo) and a boardwalk. There are gators and turtles for you to see, or drive your car up the track, the waterway runs on and off the length of the track and you may see gators along the way. We did this both years, saw lots of gators up the track the first year but didn't see any this year. We did see them in the big pool at the boardwalk though both times. You are also just a few minutes away from the smallest post office in USA if that's your thing. I posted a postcard to my dad from here. Really nice guy in the hut. I didn't notice at the time (DH did) but he photo bombed me! You can also do an airboat road from Everglade city.
Thank you. Lots for me to look into.

Thank you Chris. I will look into both ways, and I must admit to loving a casino!
I like that I will see more.

I’m looking for recommendations on places to eat with good food and a great view. We were in HHI in May and found the perfect combination of this.
We like the odd really nice meal but also like just good grub.
I want to do a trip into the Everglades and we plan to drive from Naples to Key Largo via the Tamiami Trail. I might also quite like to do a boat trip if anyone has done this.
We love Palm Springs and Naples looks like a Floridian version, we are really looking forward to our trip.
Any hints and tips are greatly appreciated.
Bistro 821 & Alberto’s on 5th Avenue for dinner. Tony’s off Third for coffee and the most amazing key lime pie & snowballs. If you have time a trip to Ford & Edison estates at Fort Myers is well worth a visit. Around an hours drive away. Great shopping at the malls and outlets and the usual eateries like Cheesecake Factory & Californian pizza kitchen. People rave about Brooks burgers and we tried this year but have to say I wasn’t impressed. However, I am probably in the minority. The beaches are beautiful and the sunset from the pier is amazing although it can get very crowded so we prefer to go onto the beach to watch. I could go on and on we absolutely love it 😊

Ah Stan thank you very much. I was just looking at the ford and Edison site yesterday after reading about them on another thread on here. That would be very appealing to us as my dh works for Ford.
Thanks for the dining tips and about the sunsets. We will definatly go to the beach for that.

Edited to add just looked at Bistro821 ... looks fab

We spent 3 days in Naples in August 2018 and enjoyed it so much that we are spending Christmas and New Year there. We had a fabulous breakfast at EJ’s Bayfront Cafe and an amazing meal at Sea Salt on 3rd Avenue.

I thought the Tamiami and the 41 were the same road?
