We ate at the Polite Pig last year on a rare day trip to Orlando & liked it but thought it very expensive for what you get; we were paying OOP & high prices for OOP at Disney appears to be the norm.
We prefer to eat this cuisine at Sonny’s, Willie Jewell’s or the BBQ shack near where we stay for half the price.

I have a terrible feeling my DH could eat all of that (minus the sprouts...).

Fantastic place - we loved it when we went in July. Great use of a QS credit! We also had the Butcher's Board and loved it! So tasty!

I love Disney but what we’ve had there is far better than any of the signature meals and significantly cheaper too!
We’ve been a couple of times and it’s been consistent.
They have a microbrewery there too which might appeal to some of you.
We had the bar snacks as a starter for the 3 of us and I drank quite a few frozes which are a bit dangerous 😬
OH and DS both had steak frites and the shoestring fries are really good. The fish was mine and was probably the best fish dish of the holiday

Anyway, sorry to crash the thread but it never gets a mention on here and it’s worth a drive out particularly for repeat Orlando visitors who might not be in the parks from dawn to dusk

We haven’t actually been to the Polite Pig yet

For those of us who can't drive how far is it from Disney? I'd need to pay uber costs.

Probably 30 minute drive so almost certainly not worth it

It’s probably more do-able from universal
Having said that, we got an Uber to the football from Disney in heavy traffic and it wasn’t too bad. $25?
Winter Park is a nice place to spend an afternoon if you have spare time which would make it more worthwhile perhaps?

Thank you. I don't like Universal so it would be from Disney. I'll stick to the Disney Springs one

Enjoyed our meal there I suppose the tip was due to them bringing your meal and drinks to the table. Our favourite QS venue this holiday followed by Blaze.
