Never been to Panda Express looks good and great value. Breakfast was ok at leaky cauldron but it’s mainly about the theming. I wouldn’t bother if you have already been in - much better breakfasts to be had.

It’s morally wrong to not buy a doughnut if there is no queue at Voodoo! Panda Express is definitely a cheap alternative to the parks, we tried Moe’s in there for the first time last year and I really enjoyed that.

Do you know if they have any vegetarian options at Panda Express?
The orange voodoo donut does look nice. Great that there wasn’t a queue, hope it’s like that when we go 😊

Loving your report 😊 We always struggle for eating at Universal. Will definitely need to add Panda Express to our list for next year 😊

Cowfish

Cowfish was our dinner of choice this evening. We waited till well after grad bash had started. It was to be a 20-30 minute wait for a table and they promised to text when it was ready. We wandered round the shops and it was about 10 minutes till I got the text.

We were seated on the top floor which had a lovely view.

I’d agreed with ds he could have an adult meal here if he contributed his days spending money $10 towards it, harsh I know but it at least makes him think about the value of things, so he decided this was a good use of his money. He ordered the Firecracker Roll*

Shrimp tempura, kani inside coated with tempura flakes, topped with yellowtail, salmon, spicy mayo, masago, tobiko and scallions. Served with ponzu dipping sauce. he absolutely loved it, he shared some with me in return for some of my food.

I had the What's Shakin' Tuna Bacon Sandwich* this was really good.

Seared rare blackened yellowfin tuna, applewood bacon, iceberg, jalapeños, tomato salsa, slaw and spicy mayo, served between grilled spring roll wrapper "buns" filled with kani and sushi rice. Served with house seasoned fries.

Df had The Boursin Bacon Burger*. She thought this was amazing.
Beef burger, garlic & herb boursin cheese, applewood bacon, sautéed mushrooms, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, onion roll

Our server was a little over eager and was asking us if we wanted a dessert when we were half way through our mains and our bill was out seconds after we declined. I sent it back so he could add the Passholder discount.

He looked utterly shocked when we left him a tip as he seemed to be expecting us not to tip him.

They had loads of choices but other than the chow mien I didn’t notice if there was veggie options, sorry. If we are back in I’ll make sure to have a look for you.

I’m not a universal quick service fan either, we did the Simpsons food court a couple of years ago and it was only a few dollars less than Lombards but the difference in quality was way more. Confisco is definitely worth a try.

Are voodoo donuts sickly ? They look it and look huge . I still like Cinnabon
I imagine some are sickly, I avoid the frosted ones. The ones I’ve chosen are not too bad so far. I’m not a fan of things that are sickly, I won’t touch the cupcakes here.

I love the Chinese food like Panda Express here. It’s so good.

Thanks we won’t bother doing breakfast then. Hoping to head offsite for breakfast tomorrow maybe to Kekes as we still have never been there.

Totally, we’ve been twice now to Vodoo Fonuts.

Interesting to here Moe’s is good, that gives us another option along with Bread Box. Thanks.

Sorry for making you hungry 😋

He is the first one we’ve come across like that this trip, don’t get me wrong he did nothing wrong and it wasn’t bad service.

Yes he did say thanks and then offered us drinks to go. 😂
