The vast majority of visitors to WDW are American. We are not important, Disney will not miss our money, regardless of what some people on here think.

Ooh! Lovely! Look forward to seeing if Mickey brings any news on Monday or not. Thanks for posting OP - a little bit of excited intrigue is rather nice 😊

If we weren't important they wouldn't bother trying to entice us in the first place with special offers.

I doubt Disney shareholders will agree! I assume you haven’t heard of Disney UK? Very profitable part of Disney pre-Covid

I think i read somewhere not so long ago we are big spenders for souvenirs too. They wouldn't bother with the uk arm of the business if they didn't make money but wouldn't be shocked if they just ended up melding the two with the layoffs.

And yet you are apparently not gloom and doom

Whilst I have no plans. The prices and whats on offer for the foreseeable future are not imho anywhere near value for money but I can see why people really just want to get away and experience what they can. If I ever go back, which was supposed to be 22/23. WDW will have to be offering something very special like free DDP ETC to entice me back on site. I, and it’s based on nothing more than my thoughts, think DDP will eventually return. Some may think they won’t miss the U.K. market but there’s more to the foreign visitor to WDW than the Brits.

Those planning... I envy you and enjoy

It's also not just about numbers of people its length of stay. Not too many from the UK doing a long weekend in Orlando! The spend per head from the UK visitors is therefore high - that's why there have been UK specific offers

Ooh keeping my eyes peeled for Monday! I’m going at Easter so any offer probably won’t count for that time, I moved my dates from July 2020 to Easter 2021 but reduced my nights till 8 & changed from POR to POP. They let me keep my $200 gift card which I was happy about!
