I’m so sorry, what a shock for you all. I hope treatment can start without delay, you might feel more positive once you’ve got ‘a plan’.

My neighbour was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins about 12 years ago, aged 72. After treatment he eventually went into remission.

Nowadays he’s a cheeky 84 year old fuschia fanatic who likes to bake bread and play with his grandchildren.

I am so sorry! What a worry for you. Please don't panic though until you know the full facts although I appreciate that having things held up because of Covid only adds to the uncertainty.

DS (40) was diagnosed with a Hodgkins type Lymphoma over a year ago, which was an awful shock, however it is a slow growing type and treatment doesn't start until it reaches the optimum size. In the meantime he is monitored 3 monthly and continues to work in construction as a digger driver.

I am struggling. It’s still early days. But my heart is broken. As the eldest child I know I am going to have to be their rock. 💜
