DOTD Glasses on DCL

Could anyone who's cruised with DCL recently tell me how much the DOTD Glasses are and how it actually works please. Does it save money or is it just another souvenir?

So I can't really tell you the price as haven't purchased one for awhile but it basically means you get a larger drink every time you refill for the same price as a regular cocktail or DOTD.

Looking at my statement from our Dream cruise last week, we were billed $32.20 for the two DOTD drinks we picked up at Cabanas shortly after we boarded.

We had the DOTD each day I think - sometimes with the glass and sometimes without (we didn't tend to carry it around with us) - and they were all sweet, fruity and with, I'd say, questionable alcohol content.

We often got them from bars in adults-only areas, having read a tip that they make them fresh as opposed to having a ready-to-go vat of the stuff, but I think every time I saw them being made they were just being poured from a pre-made bottle.

I think you'd have to drink a lot of them to stand a chance of actually feeling the effect of the alcohol!

The spirits are always straight from the bottle on DCL. Sometimes they use a mix of the fruit juice, but never the alcohol.
