Looking forward to reading this report and how you got on with your car hire, we are thinking of doing the same next year - DH wants a mustang - not handy with 4 cases!

Day 1 is up now!

It includes our car hire experience which couldn't have been more straightforward (other than the lady sneakily putting extra insurance on and seeing if we'd notice - but we did!) Lots of people say it eats up too much time to go and get the car when you can just pick it up at the airport. But I'd do it this way again as the benefits seem to outweigh the downsides to me.

A Mustang would be fab! But yeah, you'll need to get the DME for the cases at the very least!
