Hotel Benidorm:Sun, Sea & Sangria. February 2022.

A late pre trip, but watching the new tv programme about Benidorm and it’s about the hotel we are staying at. the Med Playa Rio Park.
Firstly, we are, myself, Julie, oh Matt and our friends Tracy and Paul.

This is us last year at Benalmadena. We often go on holiday together and haven’t argued yet.
This break has been changed, not by us but by easy jet and Med Playa.
Originally we found cheap flights, under £60 for us both flying from Luton. We then booked Med Playa Flamingo direct with the hotel, all inclusive which entitles us to a free upgrade. Plus another bonus is that the hotel provides free transfers as we have booked for a week.
Paul was planning to drive and he booked the car parking.
Then east jet changed our flights to Gatwick, we accepted them but Paul didn’t want to drive there with the new times so we have now have the train and a hotel booked the night before we fly.
Med Playa emailed and informed us the Flamingo was closed so we were transferred to the Rio Park.
This hotel doesn’t offer all inclusive but they have honoured our booking and we still have AI.
Because of all the changes I’m not really sure of all the details. We fly on 131st January so not long now.
We are so happy the test situation has changed so no pre departure test needed.

My mum and her pal stayed at the Rio park and absolutely loved it (2020 pre covid).
She was just talking today about going out to try and book again as they enjoyed it so much!
