Disney annual pass
Does anyone know if or when Disney will start selling annual passes again?
14 day pass isn’t enough for us 😂 We always bought the 21 day ticket, gutted that they have stopped those 😢 |

Haven't heard any rumours. But unless you're going multiple times per year or are blue card DVC owners, 2 14 day tickets are cheaper than an AP anyway.

I´m waiting for them too! Hopefully soon... We´re DVC and going for 10 days in late february and 3 weeks in august so AP will save some good money for the 4 of us.

I am also thinking AP will include free parking? If so, thats a big savings too although I have no idea how much they are 😬😬

I don't do full days either, that's why I get a UK ticket when a US ticket makes more financial sense for how many hours I actually spend in the park.
APs are $1299 plus tax now, so a bit over £1k. Add another £80ish each for waterparks and Memory Maker. IIRC, you've got some nights onsite so covered for parking then so it's just the villa part which you'd need parking for. So you'd really only save by converting one ticket to an AP. The downside of an AP is that you can only hold 5 park reservations at a time, unless staying onsite. So you'd have to book your days on a rolling basis and hope they're not booked out. Was absolutely gutted to give up our APs in 2020 but with increases and the fact we needed three visits to make them worthwhile I doubt we’ll ever be passholders again.
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. |

Oh my 🙈 they certainly don’t sound as cost effective as the universal APs 😖
I am gutted they don’t do the 21 day ticket anymore, I really feel like throwing a toddler tantrum over it! Its so frustrating, we have used those for years. I wouldn’t mind if they did a cheaper 7 day ticket but they are the same price as a 14 day ticket anyway. As there are 5 of us its very expensive 😵≈💫 |

Universal APs are an absolute steal compared to their gate price. If I was a local, I'd probably have one and I don't even like Universal that much.
Can you change your tickets to magic tickets? Not sure if you have the dining offer or not. If you can, you'd then have 18 days to use them so can stretch them a bit further. Then purchase a base ticket to cover the rest of the days. A 3 day ticket is valid over 5 day so that would take you up to 23 days covered, although only 17 days entry. It's around £280 so a decent saving over the 7 day ticket. Means quite a few non-Disney park days, but there's plenty of other things to do. Edited at 02:36 PM. |
