I just put it in the slow cooker and pour coke over it. Then when it’s cooked we add bottled bbq sauce.

Pork shoulder, preferably bone in (aka pork butt), smoked at 225 degrees F for maybe 8 hours, rubbed with Angus and Oink Sweet Bones and Butts rub. Spritz with apple juice every hour. Done until toothpick soft.

Place my butt in the offset for approx 6 hours rolling over good dey applewood splits until it makes 175°f wrap in foil for about another 3 with sugar and a pack of butter , let the fats completely render until the thermopen feels like im probing butter, i dont even look at the temps but they normally get to 195°f/205°f.
I then just touch it and it all falls apart, hit it with some home made apple and bbq sauce and job done enjoy 👍👍

Is this still available? I have looked everywhere for it in the last few months and the assistant in Tesco told me it was discontinued , I was hoping not.
