Definitely depends how you carry it. Always been at least 2 stone per size for me, but I carry my weight very evenly so going up or down a few pounds doesn't have the noticeable impact that someone who is all belly (for example) would have.
OP, at 10kgs down I would think it should start showing pretty soon. Although I think I had to lose 2 sizes before people around me really started noticing. |

Ive recently lost two stone. (With at least another four to six to go) I notice it in certain items of clothing, bras that no longer dig in at the sides or give me giant kidney bean cleavage. Or a pair of jeans that I couldnt wait till the end of the day to undo that top button... but in the mirror I see no change.
However, the other day at work I was conducting a marriage ceremony. I was busy organising guests and doing pre ceremony interviews and had been moving around the venue, hands in pockets thinking blimey this diet is going well... I know these trousers were getting loose but today it really feels like I cant wear these anymore and need new ones. So I married the couple and off they went. We had another wedding due in half an hour later, so I thought Id nip to the loo quickly... when I got in there I realised that I had conducted the whole ceremony with my trousers undone. Not just the zip, but the button at waist too. Never have I ever been so glad to have saddlebag hips, as the trousers kept thier balance on them the whole time. Thankfully I had a longline top in so no one was any the wiser... folk do not want to remember thier big day because of the Registrars big, big girl pants getting flashed! In short, youll notice when your trousers fall down. All jokes aside, well done and keep going. Xxxxxx

Agreed. I've lots two stone since starting work at our pub. Used to wear 34 inch waist, even though I really needed a 36 inch waist.
Was working in the garden a couple of weeks ago and my shorts literally fell down around my ankles! Had to get my wife to by 32 inch waist trousers and jeans for me |
