Transfers MCO to Unviersal

Morning (or Moooorning if you are an Adam Hatton fan)!

For the first time this August not going straight to Disney (always used DME before) but going to Universal for the first few days, staying a Royal Pacific. We have always used Lyft for movements when staying at Disney before.

Is Lyft/ Uber the best option for a transfer on arrival from MCO to RPR? Will be 3 adults + luggage. We will be arriving on a domestic flight at 18:12, so a bit worried about availability and surge pricing.

Can anyone recommend any other options? Was always so easy with DME ;-)

Universal have a shuttle, don’t they? They used to. (For a charge, of course!)

I’ve been looking into this for our trip to Universal. If you go to the second floor by baggage claim at MCO you can follow the signs (think it’s something like ride share in areas A and B). There’s 3 of us plus luggage so we are opting for an Uber XL. I checked for a quote online and it’s estimating $29 to Sapphire Falls. Obviously this could go up with surge pricing.

Having looked into it, it only seems to be for people booking a resort package with Universal.

Just checked and for certain hotels you need to have purchased a hotel and ticket package, this includes RPR.

I’m in same situation, had been looking at mears taxi think it’s about $84 dollars each way.
It’s then booked and no need to worry about availability or surge pricing. Although Uber / Lyft could be cheaper.

I have booked with Suntransfers, private minivan. MCO to Aventura for £53 (for August). There are four of us.
I booked a couple of months ago so price may have changed now.
Have used Suntransfers in other countries many times but not in the USA.

I’ve priced transfers via Holiday Extras and they’re very reasonable.

Thx for the tip. Just checked & the prices are still reasonable.
Do you know where they park the minivan? I’ll be in an airport wheelchair so I’m just wondering how far I might have to walk.
