Genie+ on arrival day
Im staying onsite and have paid for genie+ for my stay, would I be able to start stacking rides when I land or when I check-in or not until I enter my first park?
I'm assuming it's after check-in but curious on the other 2. If on landing I will get 2 rides stacked b4 getting into the park (assuming i make it but we arrive on weds and would love to take advantage of extra hours, DS is convinced i wont keep my eyes open! ). But if its after first entering the park I miss out on day 1 first ride when i know i will be awake at 7am if I did crash out!

I believe you get to choose which genie+ rides you want from7am on the day you will be using them
We never go to the parks on day of arrival as we are usually tired from travelling plus it seems a waste of a day pass for a few hours Edited at 06:49 AM. |

depends on when you land and the times you are offered. As far as "stacking", you would be able to get one booked at 7AM and im assuming you wont be in the park early so your next booking would be at "regular park opening time + 2 hours" so you should be able to get two booked. Again, depends on the times offered to you as to how much stacking you can do.

I asked a similar question about Lightning lane and got this helpful answer https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho... php?t=1212273

You would be able to start booking Genie+ slots from 7am Florida time (so 12pm UK time). Not sure whether it checks that you are in the USA or not - although you could use a VPN to pretend you're in the USA. BTW, at 12pm UK time you'll probably be on the plane in the air, possibly over the Atlantic.
You don't have to be checked in nor in the park to book the Genie+ slots. As you won't actually be in the park to use the Genie+ slots, you'll be able to make a new booking every 2 hours*. In theory, if on your travel day you arrived at a park at 4pm (FL time), then you could've stacked around 4 Genie+ return times for the evening before arriving at the park. Not sure how easy it is to actually do that though. (* more specifically, the first can be booked at 7am, I think the second can be booked at the park opening time + 2 hours, the third can be made 2 hours after the second, and subsequent bookings can be made 2 hours after the last one)

The two questions are a bit different. You're asking about checking into AKL early and whether you can book FOP (which is an Individual Lightning Lane Selection, different to Genie+) at that time. The OP is asking about their travel day when they won't be checking into the hotel until the afternoon, when they can start making Genie+ selections, and whether they can stack them.
Although your question and answer might also be of use to them. So there's certainly no harm in sharing.
