I’ve seen a few posts saying they’re waiting for a part and it should be rolling again next week so we’re gonna stay away next few days.
If imagine like the above comment it would be busy at the weekend especially last weekend as Monday was Martin Luther king day over here so maybe many Americans made it a 3 day weekend!

Ah that might explain it. We did hear a couple of comments that lots of people were on a long weekend. Fingers crossed for this weekend then. We are supposed to be at discovery cove on Saturday. Will have to put on our thermals for that 😂

We was there last Saturday, didn’t expect it to be busy as they only let down many in so that wasn’t a worry but I was more concerned about how cold the dolphin and fish pools was but was very suprised at how warm it was, the trainer said it’s because it’s not so warm out there pools that they feel warmer in it which I get as they said summer time when it’s roasting it feels freezing then😂
Hope you have a great time, it was our first time and won’t be the last!
Can’t believe we’ve never find it in all the years we’ve been going, not sure I’d do the dolphin swim again now we’ve done it but I’d go just for the all u can eat food😂😂

I was there for the first 2 weeks on Jan, it was a bit hit and miss, some days were really busy then the next day was much quieter. We did have the RunDisney events for a few days that increased the Disney park crowds.

There's definitely pent-up attendance due to covid, even with Omicron present. It's worth noting that there was just a holiday weekend (Martin Luther King Day), so that will have pushed up visitor numbers.

I subscribe to Touring Plans and their ride time and park attendance predictions are usually pretty accurate. We arrive on 24th January through 7th February and the park crowd levels are predicted to be between 2 and 6 out of 10 with crowds becoming heavier towards the end of our holiday. We've always used Touring Plans to select which park we visit on which day and it's always worked out for us.

They haven't been as accurate post-Covid unfortunately. I love TP and am a subscriber, but crowd behaviour has changed so much. Especially for parks like Epcot where the wait times on most of the rides has gone down considerably even though the park itself is still as busy as ever.

Yes they are only predictions. There's never a guarantee sadly, but I'm still happy to use them for guidance.
