We did EMH there a couple of weeks ago. Queues for FOP were big immediately and only go worse during the day. We did Rivers of Navi (and walking through the Pandora area in the dark was worth it), then back and did most of the rest of the park while it was very quiet, then back to FOP with our fast pass later in the day.

We did early hours last week. Whilst all the crowd headed left to Pandora we were the only ones going right. Felt like we had the park to ourselves! Walked on dinosaur and Everest with no wait and then joined queue for FOP at about 8.40, on and off within an hour. Then FP for Navi & Killamangiro and stand by for the rapids. A couple more ride on Everest with extra FP and we had all the main attractions done by 12:00.

Worked out great for us but this was when every park had EMH, might be busier now.

Managed to pick up a FOP fast pass last night for today just by refreshing app for 10 mins 👍

In August we did EMH at AK on our second day. I don't think I even attempted to get a FP for FOP. Instead we RD'ed FOP and were off for park opening. We then walked onto Kilimanjaro Safaris and did the first LK show (not intended but the children were hot and wanted to sit down). We had a FP for Everest at 11am, did the Maharajah jungle trek before our Kali RR FP at 12, then had lunch. Our third and final FP was for Dinosaur, after that it was Tricerotops Spin and wonder around the Tree of Life pathways and then the bus back to the resort by about 2.30. Not sure what other availability there was for fastpasses had we wanted to stay longer in the park but I'm sure there would have been something.
