Naples hotel

I've just gone to book a hotel in Naples for 3 nights August 2020, having originally looked a month or so ago. The price has now gone up by around $200. Does anyone know if the prices fluctuate or is it my own fault for dithering and I'd better just grab the current price? Thanks!

We have just returned from the Hyatt on 5th Avenue in Naples. Really nice hotel , good location. Not cheap. Mind you not much is in Naples.
I would get it booked as soon as possible to get the best price.

We stayed in the staybridge suites in August. Nice room with a kitchen. Free laundry. Lovely breakfast and free drinks and food from 5-7.

I booked hotel 2 days before checking in as we drove down from Anna Maria. (August 2019)

Hyatt House, Naples _ prices pretty much stable. They have a free shuttle down to key places in and around Naples 👍

Have only stayed in Naples once ( last year) and we stayed at Hyatt House. Lovely hotel and pool area. I would book a rate which has free cancellation and keep an eye on prices incase it goes down. Naples is lovely

We are booked to stay at the Bellasera next August. I got what I thought was a great deal and it's not been that price since. But as mentioned, I booked with Expedia so we have the ability to cancel for free if we need to. If you're set on a specific hotel, I would always book sooner rather than later.

Have stayed at the Inn on Fifth and Hyatt House. Preferred Inn on 5th for location, but would happily stay at the Hyatt if the price was significantly better.
