Club level Universal - day of check in?

Hi all

Just wanted to check something. We have just booked a single night stay at RPR so we can get the 2 days express passes.

For reasons that I cannot fathom, it was very slightly cheaper to get Club Level rooms than standard rooms, so I am chuffed to bits - in fact at only about £10 per room more expensive than what we paid in 2017 it's a complete no-brainer.

When we did a 1 night stay last time we arrived and checked in at about 8am to maximise our usage of the express passes. As it happened our rooms were ready.

I was just wondering if we did the same again, would we be able to go up to the club level lounge and have breakfast on the first day? Would we still be able to even if our rooms weren't ready?

I'm not fussed either way because even with 1 breakfast at CL we are still "quids in", but was just curious.

Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Any experience welcomes

We did RPR and HRH this year. The RPR room wasn't ready until late in the afternoon but HRH was ready when we arrived.

Both stays we were there at about 7am and were told by both hotels that we could use the Club Level

We did exactly that, we got to the hotel just before 7am, were checked in and luggage checked in by just after 7. By the time we got back from breakfast there was a large line for checking in. i.e. get there early!

The room key worked in the lift access the 7th floor, just walked in the lounge, we were greeted when we arrived and shown how it works. Excellent service.

Thank you for the answers - having a couple of gannets in the party means that getting some breakfast included on the check-in day will be great. looks like it will turn out to be even better value than I thought!
