We booked our economy virgin flights for September this year within a week of release date,
We have a price In mind that we will book once it goes below.i previous years, that has been early new year. But this year it was within a week of the flights being released. Just hoping for some reward pe upgrades to be released for our fight now.

Your flights will be released 11 months before the return date. Don’t book your flights too early unless you know you pay more for doing this. The chart below shows the cheapest months to book it’s a bit out of date but still worth using as a guide.

I didn't realise until today that virgin will be flying 3 times a day from Gatwick , I checked for prices and there's extra flight in-between the usual ones. Have they taken the TC slots?

That's good then. They obviously think there's still more demand for Orlando then.

Doesn't that show the cheapest and most expensive months to fly, not to book?
Basically, it shows that it's most expensive to fly in July and August during school holiday time (as you'd expect). The other chart shows that it's cheaper to leave it as late as possible; booking 3 weeks before you plan to fly being the cheapest option.

Have booked our flights PE from Manchester as soon as I saw a price I was ok with and there were only a couple of seats left upstairs in the bubble! They do seem dearer this year though.
