we were all set for the family suits at all stars music then ended up at Saratoga springs in a 1 bed (& was given a 2 bed on arrival!) '...as we booked with a $400 dollar gift card & got the DDP it was by far worth it,as the upfront cost difference was £100/night. so def keep trying to price up all the hotels with suite options when you search as u may be surprised at the results.(we were only there for 5 nights though)

I would be looking to swop to a one bedroom villa at OKW or SSR. It would be more than POR but not as much AOA with the upgrade in dinning.
I understand about having extra space (especially with teens) we booked two rooms at POFQ when we went in October and have done the same for next August to overcome this and it worked very well. We may swop to a one bedroom villa ourselves if one comes up which will save us quite a bit of money. Kat Edited at 11:12 AM. |

I would love to try AOA but as a 5 I cannot justify the cost- deluxe is usually around the same price- especially if looking for free dining. I think the gondolas will push the price up at AoA and Pop Century.

The AoA suites are beautiful we stayed in the cars one last and it was great to have so much space!

All Star Music have some suites that are the same size but slightly different layout, 2 sleeping areas and 2 bathrooms. These are often cheaper than AoA by a reasonable amount. Another alternative may be to see if you can get a cabin at Fort Wilderness - these have a sofa bed in the lounge so again 2 sleeping areas. A one bed villa would be your best bet and possibly comparable in price to the AoA but with more space and an upgraded hotel. I assume you are getting free dining at PO? if not renting DVC points will make much more financial sense.

Have you thought about ASM family suites? They are considerably cheaper than AoA, though not as well decorated.
