Did you book these directly with the airline?

Yes direct with United but via the link on Skyscanner.

2 adults, 1 teen and 2 children £1700 for all 5 of us including hold luggage (23kg) and seat reservations (I booked my seat numbers). Our dates are 12th to 30th August flying from London Heathrow to Orlando mco via Houston.

Excellent price! If only Manchester would throw out some decent fares.
Do you have any idea how much it would be to pre book seats with United? I am goi g to have to reconsider our options with prices like these.

We booked with United for next month (Amsterdam - Newark - Orlando) and the booking site we booked on, wanted $40 to prebook seats. I took the chance, skipped that, and once we had paid and had our booking number, went to the United website, logged in with our booking confirmation, and was able to select seats FOR FREE!

We are going 20th August until 2nd September (2 adults and an 8 year old) Flying from Manchester to Orlando via Dublin (Aer Lingus) and Orlando-Philadelphia-Manchester (AA) on the way back. 13 nights room only at Rosen Pointe Orlando. Booked via BA website. Original price was £2100 ish but we have shortened a connection and it's now just under £2300.00. This includes 23kg checked baggage each and we were able to book seats on 3 of the flights for free. For some reason we can't book seats on the Man-Dub leg but not too worried as it's only an hour.

It was free to pre book the seats. We would have preferred Manchester but at that Price it was too good to turn down.
