It’s definitely not too early, like others have said many of the open days are the same date. We took DS while he was a year 12, but found there were year 11 students attending the visits too.

It will be interesting to compare thoughts on unis if your DS wants to go into Police too like mine. The York St John lecturer was so negative, he said that after the degree in Professional Policing candidates are unlikely to be recruited and that the degree only lasts 5 years. So if not recruited and not find a job in 5 years it is worthless but DS would have spend £40k for nothing. He would still have a degree for other jobs but only valid 5 years to go into Police.
